Apparently, the Democrats still haven't learned that the rich are really the "Golden Geese" that we need in order to sustain our standard of living and create new jobs; not the broad evil that they are portrayed to be.

This blogger is too generous, and gives credit to Democrats for merely being naive while they run off in the wrong direction. I don’t think they’re clueless about what they’re doing at all. I think it’s completely intentional.
The left are all about power. They can’t feel very powerful when everyone is self-sufficient, when the country hums along merrily without them. But if they can destroy the economy, and get a majority of people dependent on the goverment for survival (and miserable, too), then THERE is real power. The powerful can’t be powerful unless others are powerless.
