Good post! My Brazilian friend tonight said it looks as if America is about to vote in a Third World government. He’s seen many such regimes in Latin America, including the current regimes in Venezuela and Bolivia. Let’s all pray that McCain prevails tomorrow.
At some point in every election cycle, I have to remind myself that God is in control. Sometimes it’s difficult to see, like when times are difficult, but consider everything the Apostles went through. The hardship that they suffered didn’t destroy Christianity, as was their foes intent. No, the Church grew because of their sacrifice. No matter which way the election goes tomorrow, put your faith in Him, as He is our rest until we’re called home.
I wish more people were so vividly aware of this threat. They ignore all warning, and will vote blindly against their own freedom.
I spoke with a number of immigrants today and they have the same fear as I do myself.
