Most of the condesceding and mocking has come right here on FR towards Paul.
Pretty sad, that the candidate who adheres to the Constitution is denigrated the most.
To: Austin Willard Wright
Pathetic. Having Andrew Sullivan to flaunt a campaign.

No surprise that the in the closet Leftists, pretending to be “Conservatives” are all in hysterics for a guy who cannot even win 1% in any primary. Perhaps Mr Sullivan might want to consider the basic factually reality that a few hysteric techies with way too much time on their hand can pretty much game any online poll to result any way they want.
But of course, Mr Sullivan feverishly hopes that Mr Paul will pull a Perot and split the Republican base in 2008 so his single issue, legalized Gay Marriage, will have a chance to pass a post 2008 Democrat controlled Govt.
Too bad for him, along with all the other hysteric Know Nothings, Ron Paul has ZERO chance of wining anything. People do NOT vote for lunatic fingers whose ONLY answer to every issue is “Do Nothing”.

You’ve convinced me. If Andrew Sullivan likes Ron Paul, then that says a lot to me.

People who have sold their souls don’t like to be reminded of that fact. Thus, “conservatives” who claim to believe in the constitution, but has long since sold it out, don’t like to see someone on TV actually standing up for it.

Oh I like Ron Paul just fine. Unfortunately he’s willing to allow the islamderthal horde overrun the world and willing to leave a man in prison for lying about a crime that was never committed.
Most other things I agree with him on.

After I read this I thought “some time I will post this on FR.” Thank you for doing so.

man in prison for lying about a crime that was never committed. What man? Clinton? Paul voted to impeach him even though Clinton lied about a crime that was never committed. Actually, like Scooter, Clinton did a commit a felony: perjury. The double standard on both sides of the spectrum on these two perjurers is so obvious as to be almost comical. Only Paul is consistent in condeming both men for doing the same thing.

Because Sullivan, like Romney and Rudy, is wrong about guns doesn’t mean he is wrong about everything.

Because Sullivan, like Romney and Rudy, is wrong about guns doesnt mean he is wrong about everything. Having a David Brock doppelganger to promote Pau's campaign is agenda driven.

"He was getting much praise here when he supported the failed Iraq war."I amazed at how often some of the "Paulies" sound like they're using Reid/Peolosi talking points.

I don’t remember anyone here nitpicking about whether Sullivan was “agenda driven” when he supported the war.
