Arrest Expected in Voter Fraud Investigation
(Pierre) Attorney General Mark Barnett announced today that Becky Red Earth-Villeda, also known as Maka Duta, will be arrested in the ordinary course of events for alleged forgery of absentee ballot applications. Maka Duta will be arrested in the ordinary course of events, said Barnett. No evidence has been obtained that shows she has cast or made an attempt to cast actual ballots.
Maka Duta will be charged in Minnehaha County on multiple counts of forgery.
The Division of Criminal Investigation has interviewed over 400 people in 25 counties. DCI agents also conducted a lengthy interview with Maka Duta on Tuesday. The information obtained is still being processed.
Voters should proceed as normal and go to the polls on the 5th, said Barnett.
The Division of Criminal Investigation began investigating allegations of bogus absentee ballot applications after being alerted by county auditors. There are currently 30 DCI agents working on the case.

580 votes pulled out of Shannon county for Johnson sounds very suspicious.

Every single absentee vote cast that matches any of the forgeries should be disqualified. I will not hold my breath.

I hope they do something in South Dakota. We need that Senate seat.
NBC stsed that Johnson is the winner and asked Tommy Dasshole if that is some consolation or some such question like "is this some relief for you"?
I don't want the Republicans to give this up without a fight.
No "Ashcrofting" this time in this state...unlike MO this was out-and-out total voter fraud, box-stuffing and an attempt of theft of the rightful winners seat!
In two more years I'm hoping for a "super-majority" of Republicans in both House and Senate.

Definitely. Thune is not only entitled to the automatic recount, but a legal challenge as well, as I read it.

A fake indian's picture appears in connection with an article on indian voter fraud.
The irony was apparently lost on you.

Yes! You are correct sir!

...only a couple hundred vote margin...hundreds of fraudulent registrations...who WAS elected?
To: zencycler
Has Thune conceded? At this point, I suspect it will devolve on the Senate to decide whether to seat Johnson. As far as I'm concerned, they should wait until every legal avenue has been pursued, if it takes six years.

Trent Lott better not cave on this! And he will be under a ton of pressure to do just that. If we move forward bravely, we will win. If we falter at this point, we will be stung.
I remember when Newt gave up on B1 Bob Dornan's fight to investigate voter fraud when Sanchaz first ran [off of seed money from Red China spies]. This is going to be very, very ugly. On the one hand, the rats will say that the GOP is being a bully, 'taking away our votes' [yeah we paid a lot of money to buy them]. On the other hand, this is voter fraud in an extremely close SENATE election.

Hey, didn't Johnson get an endorsement from General Armstrong Custer?
