While Gov. Gray Davis is already scheduled to debate GOP opponent Bill Simon today, two Los Angeles radio talk show hosts want their own time with the Democratic governor and are offering him $84,000 to have him debate Simon on their show.

This reporter needs to keep up to date.
When the show was aired outside Duffus headquarters the offer was $114,000 and durring the show Simon put up an additional $15,000 and an Assemblyman added $10,000.
Anyone that missed their show that day with RonDog and our Chicken really missed something, it was a laugh a minute.

Yes, the reporter's facts were outdated. On the day of the show, the offer (complete with an oversized check) was $104,000 (not $114,000). I think this included $30,000 that Simon promised for charity. The additional $15,000 from Simon and $10,000 from Tony Strickland brought the total to $129,000 that day.
