SIMON ACTIVISTS NEEDED!!
Simon for Governor Campaign | oldlizzie

Posted on 07/25/2002 5:33:18 PM PDT by oldlizzie

To: Republican Soundbite Warriors (please distribute to Republican lists) Bill Simon needs you tomorrow morning (Friday) to help create an energetic crowd to call attention to our issues and our candidate for Governor. Sorry for the late notice, but this JUST came together due to a schedule change.

Shannon Reeves will introduce Bill Simon to Shannon's successful "Freedom Fund Chevron Development" program Friday at 10:45 a.m.

The Oakland Chevron station is an excellent example of privately-funded "urban renewal." The station hires youth from the neighborhood, giving them an opportunity to join the workforce and develop their job skills. Bill Simon will also answer Davis' attacks on his CHARITABLE contributions!

Time: 10:45 a.m. 98th and Edes 9755 Edes Oakland CA

This is an excellent opportunity to show our support for Simon, and our support for charitable programs that WORK!

See you Friday morning..... Simon for Governor

Thanks, MQ. No time off from work today.

Heard from one source there was only a few union goons this time around, unlike in Santa Clara on April 30 where there was a mob of union thugs there.

I understand he was at the studios of KFI in Los Angeles and there were 8 Davis protesters and only 4 Simon supporters.

According the radio DJ's doing the afternoon talk show, all the Davis people kept ranting was that Davis should release his tax records which Simon already released and as the DJ's, John and Ken, pointed out.

Still, a bit of a lame turnout for Simon. Only four supporters. Hope you you got the turn out there.

Thanks for the notice, Auntie, but I am not living in CA anymore. I'm clear on the other side of the country now. But I will be there with you all in spirit. :-)
