The e-mail from an out-of-state reader was brief and to the point: "My husband and I are thinking about moving to California, but we do not want to move to a state that taxes SUVs or is thinking about banning SUVs. What is the answer? Is Governor Davis signing a bill regarding these issues?"

CO is not a "greenhouse gas". CO2 is. Gray Doofus and his Caliban can cut emissions of this by refrainig to exhale, and/or putting duct tape over their mouths. We must rid ourselves of the plague of lawns and flowers, which stealthily belch out CO2, even as we sleep!

7/22/2002? You're a "watermelon", aren't you. Liberals never let the truth get in the way of their arguments!

Alamitos Bay is the Long Beach Marina? Just north of the Orange County line?
If so, I am south of that a bit, I am not actually on the beach, just a few miles from it. But for a kid from the Heartland , I am real close to the beach.
I can get there in less than many hours. Actually just a few minutes!
From Kansas , the beaches are a drive of several days!

The only thing that's certain is that whatever impacts the legislation produces, if any, won't be felt until after Davis' reign as governor is ended. This is the way it is on all of Davis' decisions ... the budget crisis (just get through it now, it won't matter when I'm gone); the energy crisis (20 plus years of debt and higher rates); education (my reforms need time to work ... and if they don't, so what, I won't be in office anymore!)
Dump Davis!!!!!!!
