GOP Uncovers Democrat Vote Fraud
Tipped off by the Republican National Committee, elections officials said today that more than 850 people are suspected of illegally voting in two states in the 2000 presidential election, including 402 in both New York and Florida.
"We suspect there are many, many more," said RNC spokesman Kevin Sheridan.
As anyone who lives in south Florida can attest, it is a hotbed of hard-core Democrats who have retired from New York.
The New York City Board of Elections confirmed that it was investigating the charges, the Associated Press reported today.
Democratic National Committee's Maria Cardona had this bizarre response: "The Republicans have spent so much time this year trying to distract from the real issue, which is election reform."
Apparently Democrats don't think that criminal overvoting is an issue that needs reforming, if it helps the likes of Al Gore try to steal an election.
"We suspect there are many, many more," said RNC spokesman Kevin Sheridan.
This gets my vote as understatement of the year.
Sheridan said he did not have information on the party affiliation of those voting in two different states.
"We're not trying to turn this into a partisan issue," he said. "This was a natural outgrowth of our effort to update our voter files."

Does Newsmax even care any more? I guess not.
Here's how....
Republicans: How do you account for this fraud?
Democrats: We didn't do anything wrong.
Republicans: Well, that's good enough for us! Please forgive me for even suggesting such a thing.
When Democrats got caught taking millions from Communist China, their reply was similar. Republicans didn't want to deal with the real issue: Campaign Finance Reform.
This is like Ted Kennedy saying the real issue concerning Chappadiquick was a lack of guard rails on bridges.
Oh boy!!! NYC Board of Elections is shocked that this could happen..They will run a 'pure' election the next time!!
Wondering what century that will happen.
Oh. Well . . . sorry I bothered you. For a moment there I was forgetting that only a Democrat can stipulate what "the real issue" is.
Damn Republicans. How DARE they bring attention to a non-issue such as Democrat voter fraud?
I can tell you exactly how it will play out. The LEFT WING (New York Times) DOMINANT media will ignore it. Of course if it was a Republican it would be spread across the HEADLINES of the Times, which seems to be the ONLY news source that's EVER given any credibility by the rest of the media.
How do we know that they were all Democrats? Moreover, this is individual fraud, rather than concerted party fraud. I grant you, that the bulk were probably Dems, but this is rather thin beer. That doesn't mean it shouldn't be stamped out, but it does mean that to get into a wad over it demonstrates a distinct lack of proportion.
Who said they wer ALL Democrats? Let's assume statistical balance here (which is by the way the way dem's want to conduct a census). Statistically then 60% were dems. and 10% independents or other and 30% Republican. We are talking NYC.
Moreover, this is individual fraud, rather than concerted party fraud.
By what evidence do you make that assumption? We have no evidence of what type of fraud it is, only that it occurred.
"this is rather thin beer."
Yes, I prefer Guiness, as well.
" but it does mean that to get into a wad over it"
Well, I for one was not "in a wad" over it. I was merely pointing out the article.
"demonstrates a distinct lack of proportion"
Well, here I have to disagree with you, respectfully. Being as the election was sooooo close and that voter fraud occurred on a wide scale in many places (Missourri, Milwaukee, Philly, NY, Florida and others) and the preponderance of the reports indicates it to be Democratic fraud and considering most Dems feel Bush was "unelected" or that the court "stole" the election, thus disenfranchising and delegitimising the Bush presidency and being that voter fraud has long been a Democratic strength (Chicago 1960, Indianna 1984, California 1994) and being that the vote is a time honored right established with the blood of our forefathers, well then it seems that a little anger over the Dems stealing my vote is in proportion to to the act committed. Yes, now I am in a wad. And I apologise for the run-on sentence.
You know why the republican tennis tournement was cancelled?
Not enough balls.
