Wow - these polls are just all over the place. I like to believe the one released yesterday that showed Simon ahead by 8 points, but the realist in me tends to believe this article. That is a scary proposition. We need to do whatever we can to defeat Davis - California cannot afford - literally - another four years of this guy.

Mr. Davis who, despite a rash of top-shelf high-profile bungles, is leading his Republican opponent by a huge margin in a top poll. That is the main point of the article and it is based on a HUGE fallacy. the Field poll that they refer to is a flawed poll and it always has been. They DO NOT call likely voters. They don't even call REGISTERED voters. They call anyone who picks up the phone, and then rely on them to decide themsleves if they are a likely voter.
I could go on and on about all the Field poll gaffs over the years. They had Kathleen Brown beating Wilson two months out when all the other polls in the state showed her getting clobbered (which is what happened).
THE FIELD POLL IS NOT A RELIABLE POLITICAL POLL!
Two different political polls this week show Simon ahead -- one by 4 and one by 8 points.

That was the legendary Field Poll, which has already been talked to death here.
I believe this is a duplicate post of a relatively old article. The most recent poll we have has Simon 8 points up.

California will get another 4 years of this guy if Gerald Parsky and the RINOs keep taking over the state party here. Not that it matters. If that does happen, talk of a shutout in the land of Reagan will have indeed become a self fulfilling prophecy.

If Davis wins my advice to you is -- MOVE!

The latest evidence to play into this theory are the fortunes of Mr. Davis who, despite a rash of top-shelf high-profile bungles, is leading his Republican opponent by a huge margin in a top poll. Bwahahahaha ha hahaha hahaha!!!!!!!! Hooo hoooooo! There have been six polls that I've seen, five of which show Simon leading. FIVE!! Guess which one seems to be the only one ever mentioned by the media? :-)
