He is the fourth top aide Gov. Gray Davis has fired in connection with state computer woes, which came to light after an audit ripped a $95 million no-bid software contract with Oracle Corp.

I don't think this scapegoating will do Gray Davis a bit of good. Firing his computer chief is just one more signal to the masses that this scandal is serious. It won't take off the heat.

"In three appearances before the panel, Cortez claimed he was "not in the negotiations loop" in the final days leading up to the Oracle deal on May 31, 2001."

Is this the 'guy' that was giving testimony when the power 'mysteriously' went out on the Sacramento 'closed circuit' system?

"Cortez's letter of resignation, which in his case was part of the firing process, made no mention of the Oracle debacle. Instead, he referred to the Department of Information Technology's scheduled demise on June 30."

Resigned, guess he's not eligible for 'unemployment'? But, he'll get 'good references' from the DOOFI.

Thanks!

Attention all Rats in Kali government"

If something goes wrong, you will be fired not Fascist Herr Davis.

Five weeks after he was suspended with pay for his role in California's computer software scandal, Department of Information Technology Director Elias Cortez was fired Monday.

He is the fourth top aide Gov. Gray Davis has fired in connection with state computer woes, which came to light after an audit ripped a $95 million no-bid software contract with Oracle Corp.

Again, I ask this simple question:

What did Cortez and the other 3 top aides fired by Davis personally benefit from the Whoreacle Deal?

He is the fourth top aide Gov. Gray Davis has fired in connection with state computer woes, which came to light after an audit ripped a $95 million no-bid software contract with Oracle Corp.

The only two people who benefited personally were Herr Davis and his SS trooper, Lockyer, Kali AG.

New Oracle player emerges

"Elias Cortez, the suspended head of the Department of Information Technology, testified that he told Lema to stop working as a consultant in the department's offices after he found out that Lema formed a business with Vince Hall, who was then Davis' chief of staff. Hall is now running for the state Assembly in San Diego and working part time for Lema's company."

There is not a problem for Herr Davis.

There is no controlling legal authority nor a group of leading Rat editors/publishers screaming for his scalp.

We know about this and his voting cult doesn't nor do they care if they find out. They know that he is for abortion, Gay Rights and taxing our money and spending it on his voters.
