If California Gov. Gray Davis wins re-election, hell have the cowboys at Enron to thank. He has as much to answer for as the bankrupt energy company.
So Why Has It Taken Months and Still No EnRon Senate Hearings? I don't think anyone wants to use the EnRon probe for political gain at this point.
It will destroy more demRats by far. They can't afford to blow anymore holes in their lil feetsies at this point.

A $117,000 over a couple of years is what has been published as the amount admitted to by Davis from Enron.
Many of these donations are probably only the frost on the tip of a huge iceberg re the real donations.
