Yep, this writer's characterizations even caught a freeper repeating and expanding his drivel.

If the Press were as interested in doing their jobs as they are in doing the bidding of "Governor Gray-through-and-through davis", I'm sure they could dig up a few Wiccans, Jones Templers, and maybe even a few "nuns" from Our Lady of Perpetual Indulgence over in the Davis compound!

Just another hit piece by the Gay Rhonicle to fire up the gays and other left wing maggots in the SF area.

Next they will be telling us he goes to church or to a synagoge and believes in God and reads the bible!!

The Gay Rhonicle has become the butt end of the sorry fish wraps in Kali.

A 'Wrongicle Chronicle' hit piece.

While a slightly left of center person in San Francisco might appear in 'their world' as a right winger. It doesn't even come close to be a 'right winger' in the 'real' world.

REMEMBER !!!!

Typical SF Chronicle hit piece...nothing new here. If they could score anti-Simon political points by b!tching about the brand of toilet paper he uses, they'd do so.

They'd better...Davis is is deep sh!t.

"They used to call me an anti-Christian liberal, and I was secretary at the Presbyterian Church here for 26 years."

And, Bill Clinton carried the 'Big Bible' to church. The 'church' doesn't make any one a Christian, a love for God's truth and bearing its 'fruits' does.

Show me the 'truth' and 'fruits' of the liberal 'faith' inside or outside the church, and the problem of sin becomes readily apparent, IMHO.(And, no Christians are in no ways anywhere near perfect, but for the most part they SEEK after Him and His 'Agenda', not after the 'earthly agenda' of the Socialist/Marxist left.)

"Frank is "anti-abortion, anti-gun control, for (school) vouchers -- the real hard-line, right-wing slate," said Robert Larkin, a moderate GOP activist..."

Sounds like Frank is a 'Constitutionalist', while Larkin is a 'lying liberal acitivist' in moderate GOP clothing.

That doesn't bother me at all. We use Moon and his cult orgainzation to further our aims. We control these nuts, not the other way around.

You sound like a German Junker circa 1933. 'Hitler's a nut but we'll control him.'

Personally, I don't get in bed with evil just because it may support my aims in some way. I much prefer to see evil destroyed. All of it.

If you want to know how in-bed the media is this Gray Davis, this article gives you some idea. How many 2,000 word articles do you usually see on campaign staffers?

This is nothing but a hit piece.

Since this article was written by one of the MOST LIBERAL papers in the country - I would say they are down right worried to death that Simon has Frank on his team. It's not that the liberals want to spare us - which they appear to be saying: oh you poor conservatives, you don't want such a guy on your team, he's going to split your party - like they care if it would split our party. Phooey!! They're just jealous. What a bunch of whiners.

Federation members are occassionally given a seat at the table only because some big contributor paid for more seats than he needed.

Yep.

I got a signed letter from Simon last week for giving $100 to his campaign. I don't live in the state but he needs all the help he can get because this is just a very small example of what's to come !

Tables cost money. The Federation has organization but little money. Candidates would rather take monetary contributions and use the money to create their own paid organization than to rely upon the fickle Federation organization.

I think maybe you are talking about the Dimocrat party. They get gobs of money from their wealthy Hollyweird pals and union bosses and pay their "volunteers."

In the CA Republican party, the CA Republican Assembly members are among the most dedicated volunteers to walk the precint walk and talk the phone bank talk to get GOP candidates elected. It's a badge of honor for a volunteer to be "comped" to a high priced event in recognition of the hard work that volunteer has done for the campaign.

The Democrats, on the other hand, always talk about how their party is the party of the "little people," but in real life, the Dems have contempt for ordinary folks.

You know, the liberals are finding it hard to go after Simon because he's a good guy, honest and sincere, and very smart. Now, they're going after his staff. Pretty soon, they'll be going after his volunteers. "See, gophack is supporting Simon and we KNOW she's a right-wing extremist who wants to end abortion rights and make sure everyone carries a gun. Simon MUST be bad."

They will stop at nothing. The smear campaign has started. Let's fight back ... and let Bill Simon stay above the fray. He needs to fight Gray Davis. We need to fight the minions.

Go Simon!

The RINOs don't like Steve Franks cause he's a conservative. But these are folks who'd never in a million years vote for Bill Simon even if he were to the left of Gray Davis! One wonders what they are doing in a party they hate.

". . . I'll tell you very sincerely that there are a ton of us who will not support Simon because of Steve Frank."

Right, got it.

The "tolerant wing" won't tolerate Frank.

Pustulent hypocrite.

The problem is both of them are too radical for my tastes. Larkin and Frank should be gone and a new generation of Republican activists should take place. Bring on the Libertarian oriented Republicans over the left and right leaning advocates.
