Much ado about nothing. Who cares what gender they like, as long as they can do the job?

I agree. It's not like these guys are wearing leather and chains to the office or doing anything else to embarrass the President or the country. Besides, the positions are not highly visible.

Gee, it seems for some, the only good homosexual is a dead one or one currently in religious training to "convert" them to being a heterosexual. Personnaly I would want to find something more fulfilling to do than peeping into other people's bedrooms.

These Sodomite Deviants are now being supported by the taxpayers. I see nothing either admirable or honorable coming from these Sodomites.

I see you've set aside this special time to humiliate yourself in public again. Ever hear of latent homosexuality?

"No, but it apparently disqualifies you from making a living."

Oh no, just disqualifies one from a position requiring upright moral character and self-control. Hairdresser, interior decorator, entertainer, writer, stock analyst, or professional wrestler are some examples of appropriate professions.

Now, I've met some nice gay guys. I've also known nice alcoholics, coke heads, obsessive hand-washers, and manic depressives. None would be my first choice for a position of authority, responsibility, and self-control.

I knew it wasn't my fault for opposing Bush so strongly during the election. Oh course, now that he is President I have come to like him very much. But actions like this on behalf of Bush prevent me from feeling too guilty for so strongly opposing him prior to becoming President. But like I said, now that he is President, I find him to be very likable. I just wish he would have some more of the kind of guts that Reagan had, and resist the urge to pander to certain people.

Yes, I, too found his pandering to the steel unions and the rust belt very disturbing. I also am having problems with pressing Israel to allow terrorism in her borders while we pander to the very Arabs who attacked the WTC. Hiring qualified gays to public service is the least of his flaws, IMO.

You don't think Reagan appointed gays to government positions? I'll bet even Buchanan had a gay or two in his campaign.

These Sodomite Deviants are now being supported by the taxpayers. I see nothing either admirable or honorable coming from these Sodomites. If a private industry wants to hire the deviant at least I can boycott them. As a taxpayer all I can do is point out their predaliction to engage in deviant behavior nd wonder if this good for children to see as a role model. Nothing says I have to like paying taxes to support deviance.

Role model for children? Are you saying these sodomites are having sex at the office? If that was so, it wouldnt make any difference what their orientation, they should be fired. So whats your point?

Do children actually see people in government cubicles? And, if they did see them, would the gay people be doing gay things?

I wouldn't let you Pharisees who hate gay people around MY kids, I'll tell you that.

Quite frankly, a pattern is forming...

These appointments can be seen as "pandering" to gays, just as the Bush Administration is pandering to new Mexican voters by supercedeing and bypassing Immigration laws and regs, pandering to the Drunken Senator, Dems and the NEA, and pandering to proponents of CFR.

But then again although this RINO President's approval rating is hovering at around 80%, there still are 20% left to win over by the election of 2004.

Welcome to the all happy "Two-Party Cartel". They called ol Willie, "Slick" but this GW makes Slick look like a school yard boy among men. You will see just how far left this country will be when GW leaves & I expect as things are going you will give him a big favorable rating. Just shows ya the shallowness of the public. Off subject but couldn't GW have done something to retract this nation from the World Court? By golly if it had been an oil pipeline that Slick had opposed by signature, ol GW would have found a way to negate that.

I assume they were not unemployed to begin with so no one would be denying them employment. There is no way I believe they were the best people for the job and just happened to be gay. They were stategically chosen for political purposes. In that case the goal is to normalize immorality. That is very different from a private matter. No one is saying "We are hiring these adulterers and we are proud of it because they are so qualified for the job so who cares if they are cheating on their wife..." If they advertise their sexuality then let them get a job in the private sector. Bush is wrong on this one and he is aiding the normalization of a very abnormal and harmful behavior.

You wouldn't say "So what if he uses cocaine" or "so what if he mutilates his body" or any other harmful to self act. Bush is a fool.

If Queerdom would keep its activities confined to the bedroom you might have a point. But "Gay Pride" parades, Day(s) of Silence, Queer As Folk and Queer Duck just prove that, as Robert Bork wrote, we're Slouching Towards Gomorrah. We could also talk about queer attacks on the Boy Scouts of America and AIDS deaths of innocent hemophiliacs. But, nevermind, enjoy the Slouch.

No one is denying them their freedom. However, most presidents appoint people of like-minded political views. These appointments say Bush agrees with their gay agenda.

You know, you may have a point.  All those smokers in
civil service are driving up health premiums.  Fire all
cigarette smokers for self-harm and hire no more.  </sarcasm>

Since you brought religion up....are you gonna tell them like Jesus did "go and sin no more"?

Their is no way I believe you would approve of an appointment of a known and ongoing adulterer who would bring the "other woman" to government events. Your statements say that you think it is moral behavior.
