Generally polling organizations contracted for by a given candidate find means of conducting the poll in a manner that brings out a more favorable result for their client. That's why they get hired. This is good news, nonetheless. Conservatives the state over are energized and ready to meet Davis' desperate and pathetic offensive on all fronts. We've plenty of ammunition to help sway enough of those lukewarm moderates out there to take back the governorship.

Thanks for the post, kat.

I always get nervous when I see liberals with guns

Yes, but amazingly none of his fingers seem to be sitting on the triggers! While the grip he's using is still pretty dumb (proper grip is with index finger straight) it's better than what one usually sees from DiFi et al.

lol.....yeah, I don't think he's had his background check yet.

After I last posted, I realized that most every politician I've seen posing with a gun has been a liberal. I can't think of any conservative, pro gun politicians who walk around brandishing weapons and trying to talk tough. Maybe there are some, but I just can't think of any. Ironic, isn't it?

Doesn't Davis look like Cameron of Ferris Bueller fame?

That's a surprise? Bush backed Riordan in the primary, despite the fact that Riordan is a liberal as Hillary Clinton. A real conservative wouldn't do that. And how much of the liberal agenda does Bush have to push through -- from amnesty for illegals to the bail of the steel industry -- before you get a clue that he isn't a conservative?

I can only hope. The Davis campaign is gearing up to get down and dirty. He has no shame. His handlers have no shame. No lie will be too big. No charge will be too outrageous.

Keep one thing in mind - Davis has somewhere between 500,000 and 1,000,000 illegal votes in hand. These are votes from the illegal residents who have signed up as part of the "motor voter" fraud; the dead who have never been taken off of the voter roles in the big, democratic cities; the multiple families who variously occupy several residences; and the abentee voter con artists (ballot thieves).

I want Simon and the other conservative candidates to win, but it is going to be an uphill fight all the way.

An organized purge of the voter rolls headed up by a Howard Jarvis-style curmudgeon to heighten consciousness and some deadly serious retired FBI types volunteering their services to investigate and using their connections to trigger prosecutions would seem to be in order.

Schudler made some mistakes but 9-11 really hurt him. He was the candidate coming from behind against the better known McGreedy. The Tower attack and the anthrax mess hit NJ hard and took up everyone's attention (rightfully so) during the two months when voters finally start paying attention to their political races. Simon won't be that far behind come November. He has a good chance of having a lead. So outside distractions won't have the same impact as they did in NJ.

Simon has a big lead over Davis by running as a conservative, yet I have ZERO doubt Bubba-2 and the RNC will be trying to get him to run to the left. I'm hoping he is smart enough to not listen to those idiots. When Republicans run as conservatives, they win BIG.When they win running as moderates/compassionate conservatives/leftists,they barely squeak by.Hell, even the Dims try to run as conservatives!

Friends it looks like those fashionable experts who insist that conservative republicans can't win are just plain stupid themselves.

Of course they are. Every single one of these idiots is either from the northeast themselves,or are based there. This area is totally dominated by either Marxist Dims or Rockefeller/Country Club/Compassionate Conservative Republicans. This is a area when the average elected politician is slightly to the left of Castro, and that actually considers leftists like Guiliani to be "right-wingers" who "need to run as being more moderate than they are to win". You KNOW they are going to panic when they run across a REAL conservative.

The lessons of the elections of 1994 were totally ignored by these people because they can't accept that as a reality and still call themselves the "leaders and thinkers".

Ironic. They definitely shouldn't be handling those things - they can't be trusted to know what they are doing. Oh wait, that would be true for their handling of our money too!

"Remember, Davis will get 100% of the deceased citizens vote and probably 95% of the nursing home vote and 100% of the usually massive illegal aliens vote, not to mention the disenfranchised felon vote. Simon probably needs to get 60-65% of the legal vote to win."

Not to mention the deceased democrats vote, the deceased illegal alien vote, the potential illegal alien vote (those who are planning to cross the border but have not done so), and the duplicate illegal alien vote (those who vote at two different polling stations). These votes have been known to swing a few elections in LA.

Internal polls aren't terribly accurate (and this sounds like an internal Simon poll), but I do think they show a trend, and it appears there is a trend toward Simon.

POS has also done polls for the Coleman camp in MN and Thune camp in SD. It seems to be an exclusive GOP firm. But there's another poll out recently showing a marginal Simon lead as well. Bump for Bill!
