In War, Soldiers Die... American casualties are a good sign

First of all, hotheads such as yourself that spout but never listen, never seek to understand exactly what the other person is saying but filter everything through your own knee-jerk myopia, ALWAYS make fools of themselves. On that score I don't have a worry in the world.

But how can a man understand what that experience is like, for a woman...?

I simply disagree. I have a mother, sisters, a wife, daughters. I can very MUCH imagine what it must be like, so much so that like you (or so I assume) I would be angry enough to tear apart the man who dared do this.

The fact that you think a man would understand what a woman suffers during a rape, relegates you to nitwit status.

A truly wise man starts off with the statement, "I don't know." He tries to understand, but must eventually become aware of the fact that there are some things a man can't understand about a woman, and vice versa. A woman can't describe in any meaningful way, what sexual climax feels like for her. A man can't explain it, from his perspective. The net result, is an intrinisic lack of understanding, at a fundamental level...

If you have a wife and children, and still deny this fact of life... Then I question your mental competancy...

I'm surprised how much trouble the headline has generated - A book by it's cover? The first six words are relatively unimportant.

The headline is put in its context by the article - and I can't imagine someone who was disgusted by it not reading the article.

What is the problem? If you want to quibble about the headline, perhaps you could suggest a better one?

Despite more "expert" advice and handwringing from the punditocracy, we realized soon enough that the Northern Alliance was the horse to back.
