DANIELLE'S DEATH MAY REMAIN MYSTERY: (30 Days Ago, Van Dam Case Broke! Details Now Being Revealed!)

CAUSE OF GIRL'S DEATH COULD REMAIN MYSTERY

Police say they may never know how Danielle van Dam died, or when. The seven-year-old girl disappeared from her San Diego home February first. Authorities are now confirming that a child's body found by volunteer searchers Wednesday is that of the missing child. The district attorney says an autopsy performed confirmed her identity yesterday. The identification was made through dental records because of the condition of the body. Medical examiners are trying to determine the cause of death, but Police Chief Dave Bejerano says it's possible that we'll never know how, or when she was killed. A neighbor has been charged with kidnapping and murdering her. Authorities say they found the girl's blood on his clothing and in his motor home. He has pleaded innocent.

They could have called for it to be delivered on their way home.

I am just giving plausible options.

"I am just giving plausible options"

The wife may have called and ordered it. Pop VD was allegedly sound asleep until she got home at 2:00 or after, depending on which quote of theirs you read in which article.

I did wonder what was the real story because the mother was at a bar the night Danielle disappeared, and the father put her to bed. Now, we're told the parents are swingers. Whoa! I would like to believe that the neighbor did it, but the parents are "swingers," and swingers are a different "breed of cat." I'm told by a reliable source there are really weird, kinky people in the swinging crowd sometimes all for a one-night stand. Now, I have my doubts about the neighbor. Maybe creating doubt is what the defense attorney wants. If so the attorney did a good job from my perspective.

Well stated, lily......BUMP!!!

she knew the intruder well enough not to be afraid to go with him.

I, personally, suspect this is the case.

In the OJ case, they did not ask for the death penalty, something I never fully understood.

Prosecutors don't like asking for the death penalty unless they have a rock solid case....jurors, people like us, selected out of a pool, don't like to personally be responsible for "putting someone to death." If the evidence is there, no question, and the guy's a monster (or woman), then the juror would feel less guilty voting for the death penalty.

Yeah, I saw post 49...where he referred to walsh coaching the father on how to grieve properly for the camera. I'm telling you, like I've said all along..if they were swingers I pray to God for their souls. IF their not, I pray for those who gossips and trashed their reputation..

I however tend to believe the grief is real. How can you see this and deny grief?

Westerfield is not a stupid man. He probably planned this thing out like a chess game.

Don't forget....the Van Dam's were supposed to leave for their Italy trip the day after her disappearance, I believe. The timing of her abduction is another "too much of a coincidence" thing, IMO.

Now you are saying a mouthful. This was my contention in my second post on this case, circa Feb. 9.

That if a 50-yr-old man, been through 2 marriages, raised two children, had been a pedophile...there would almost certainly be a legal (criminal) history, or EVEN FAILING THAT, then the kind of rumor and innuendo versus previous wives, neighbors, acquaintances etc that would already have created here about him, much the same kind of story as has been created about the VD's!!!

Instead, Nothing. Zip. Nada. From anyone about any part of his history.

Cloriforming passengers then robbing them is common practice on trains there?

That's what they were told. It was about 11 years ago and she and her girlfriend were just 18. I nearly died when she called me from Rome.

The train people were of no help at all and it makes you think they were part of it. They said sometimes the robbers put it in the air vents at night and knock out a whole car. My daughter and friend were in a little isolated sleeping unit.

I was dumbfounded and told them to find someone in Rome to report it to. They ended up going to the U.S. Embassy but it didn't do much good.

They told them to call the State Department here and register a complaint. The only recourse available for such things is to report so they can tally up incidents that might eventually trigger warnings and deter tourism. I reported it but that was the end of it.

Amazing, huh? I said, "Can you imagine if that happened on an Amtrak train here?" I doubt they would just blow it off like it was no big deal.

I'm glad I didn't know these things before they went or I would have battled to keep her from going and traipsing about Europe.......just two young girls. I still shudder to think of what worse things could have happened.

there would almost certainly be a legal (criminal) history

DO you really believe that? What about the pedophile priests that are getting caught right and left?

Associates of an Infoseek exec arrested for using chat to solicit a minor may have been shocked and surprised, but not the FBI. As it turns out, a corner office at a high-profile, high-tech company isn't such an unlikely place to find an online pedophile -- not according to records being yielded from a three-year-old Federal Bureau of Investigation crackdown on Internet pornography.

Of the 413 people arrested as part of the agency's "Innocent Images" investigation since 1995, "only a handful have not been upper-middle-class, educated white men," said Special Agent Pete Gulotta who serves as the investigation's chief spokesman. "They're almost all white males between the ages of 25 and 45.

Why would a murderer leave on the body the most identifying piece of evidence? Who would be that stupid?

I thought about that, myself. Especially, as you indicated, that choker has been splashed about everyone....it would obviously identify her when she was found. So, I was thinking, whoever did this, wanted her identity to be known and known quickly.

He wasn't a priest, nor was there any evidence he sought out jobs like elem schl teacher, scout leader, or anything else that (to LE) indicates possible such proclivity.

Also, I am not so much saying the history would HAVE to be legal, but where are the hundred gossipers who knew a little something and would come out to destroy him now.

Zip. Nada. Everyone says he could not have committed rape or murder. Period.

We've had military officers with high clearances, pediatricians, lawyers, school principals, and tech executives," Gulotta said of those arrested under Innocent Images.

They had rock solid evidence. They just wanted to avoid a racial riot. If a white factory worker had killed Brown and Goldman they would have asked for the death penalty, and got it.

That's still very very close to departure date from abduction date, don't you think? It's almost as if someone "needed" to do this before the VanDam's left.

You are probably correct on this. Although, generally speaking (taking out the race card), what I said is true about death penalty charges.
