Mel has several children and been married for 20+ years. He does not appear to be a RAT. Non-RATs have to be quiet in Hollywood.

Hell, I wish he wouldn't keep his politics quiet! We need more vocal conservatives in Hollywood --- but I guess he wants to keep getting work.
