This is a good time to recall the PBS "Frontline" special on junk guns - the associated website features this picture:
The talk of "junk", "cheap" and "illicit" guns...but the introductory picture is of a $1000 gun (Glock with integral laser) favored by cops. Hardly "cheap" or "illicit".

You cannot reason a person out of a position they did not reach through reason." And when said persons gain control of the entire apparatus of a state, what then?
When reason, logic, truth and good will have been swept off the table to shatter like cheap crockery, what then?
