It seems that local "pro-choice" groups will be protesting President Bush. Their main contention is that Bush is taking away choices of women in foreign countries by defunding UNPFA. The only problem is that the reason the Bush admin is defunding UNPFA is its collusion witht he Chinese government's totalitarian "family planning" agenda that includes forced sterilization, forced abortion, and murder of non-permitted babies.

So much for the "pro-choice" movement.

Why Does NOW Support China's Forced Abortion Policy?
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,44751,00.html
It is probably too late to counter-protest, but I thought I would inform fellow patriots.

Besides, some of the messages are so stupid that they are amusing.

Gather with other NYC activists to OPPOSE and EXPOSE President Bush's Anti-Woman Agenda.

Thousands of "women" are killed every year by abortion. Seems like Pro-Choice New York is the anti-woman group here...

It occurs to me that these so called Pro Choice women are really the anti choice advocates. They don't think anyone should really have any other choices than what they feel are correct.
Hmm, wonder how they managed to have themselves labeled Pro Choice?
I am a woman, yet what I believe in is not in line with them, therefore I should not have a voice in their opinion.
Who are they to say that what President Bush proposes is not for women?

obviously, THESE PARTICULAR womyn arent too bright. actually, i hate them. they are cruel, selfish, ignorant, and treasonous, and they obviously dont respect human life. i am hard pressed to understand how they feel UNFPA "saves" womens' lives. if i were a woman, id disown these freaks. and yes, theyre freaks, and i hate them. its a baby, not a choice! its really too bad these folks had mothers who chose life for them, they are so smug and ignorant and arrogant of that fact! i wish THEY were aborted, how do they like that??????

These women need to get a clue. I am all for pro-choice -- a women's choice is made at conception. Be more careful who you sleep with if your contraceptive might not be working.

Another alternative is the morning after pill -- the pill you take the next morning while groaning over last night's mistake and the possible consequences. This pill prevents the joined cells from adhering to the uterus in the same way that a diaphragm would work. I don't think these pills are widely available yet (if at all), but they should be.

I can't believe that so many women's political agenda depends solely upon their right to murder an unborn child.

I wish I lived in New York just so I could COUNTER PROTEST! These people are absolutely grotesque! Pro-Choice my patootie! What about the freedom of Chinese women to have children? The freedom to NOT have an abortion forced onto them by the government? What about THEIR freedom of choice?

MESSAGE IDEAS:

1) NYC is Pro-Choice

This kind of stuff I especially hate. When they have the chutzpah to presume to speak for me and all the other pro-life women in this city.

What do you think I was doing?
I monitor the left at Columbia for issues relevant to the university and for damage they cause. FR is not first on my notification list but it is up there. I just forgot to check my mail Tues morning. My bad.

You know what the funny thing is about these liberal women. They have probably never had an abortion in their whole life, but the clammor around as if they have abortions on a weekly basis.
= line break I think the president is doing the right thing by freezing funds and promoting abstinence. Simple enough equation. No sex = no pregnancy = no abortion.

Woman's body, woman carries to term. So why would a women want a man to legislate anything about her body?

Like a propane salesman telling someone how to pilot a b1 bomber...LOL.

Let the women speak...enough of this male bullcrap that can't even ecompass the reality of it all.

Alrighty then. I'm a woman...hear me ROAR! I am pro-life. I believe life begins at conception and ending that life is murder. If you abort, you are murdering a precious LIFE.

You may now meow...quietly.

I have control over me, but a person inside me is not me--it is another human being with every right and all the dignity as you do.

Like a propane salesman telling someone how to pilot a b1 bomber...LOL.

Having a child ripped out of your womb is comparable to someone telling how to be a pilot? That has to be the lamest argument I have ever heard. Try having a bit of compassion and mercy on those who are innocent and defenseless. Unless, of course, you are more concerned with someone infringing upon your right to free and unaccountable sex than with another person's life.

Let the women speak...enough of this male bullcrap that can't even ecompass the reality of it all.

I'm a woman, and I'm speaking. You make me sick.
