Actually, I think Bush was holding out the carrot to Hezbollah, remember Darrell Issa's diplomacy? but now they seem to be added to the list...perhaps because of involvement with the Karine-A?? Also Hamas was given a chance at first at not put on the list, then around December they started bombing Israelis.

I just checked the list. Hezbollah and Hamas were added to the State Dept.'s list of terrorist organizations on 11/2/2001, Islamic Jihad back in September, 2001. I do remember Issa's diplomacy, but Hezbollah--as well as Hamas and Islamic Jihad--chose another path. I'm wondering if Arafat's al Aqsa will be added to the list when Sharon comes to visit next week.
