Rosie Opens the Door In New Memoir

Get ready for the real Rosie. If there's anybody left in America who's still in the dark about Rosie O'Donnell's sexual preference, the talk show queen flicks on all the lights in her forthcoming memoir, "Find Me," according to people who've peeked at the book.

"She talks about her relationships with women and having a girl breaking her heart in college and other relationships with women," one source tells us.

"She comes out," says another reader, "but she's very matter-of-fact about it. She may be thinking that if she doesn't make a big deal out of it, she minimizes the backlash from gay activists who might say, 'Where the hell have you been?'"

O'Donnell has become increasingly candid about her love life. Accepting a trophy at last year's Daytime Emmy Awards, she thanked her frequent companion, Kelli Carpenter, declaring: "I love you!"

The Queen of Nice contends in her book that her talk show "took off so fast, she cornered herself into a stereotype," says one reader. "She talks about how exhausting it's been acting happy all the time — how she's leaving the show [in May] because she can't keep it up."

O'Donnell's book shuttles between her own anguished Long Island childhood, which includes estrangement from her father and the death of her mother on her 11th birthday, and her crusade to find loving parents for children who need them.

One of the stranger tales is of a woman who asked for help with putting the baby of her pregnant teenage daughter up for adoption. O'Donnell later discovered the woman suffered from a multiple-personality disorder and had no daughter.

O'Donnell's rep declined to comment on the book, due out on April 23, aside from calling it "a personal journey." But we hear she's talking about turning it into a one-woman Broadway show.

she's gross, she's fat, she's rude, she's vulgar ... following all that, the queer part is no surprise, just the next logical step for someone obsessed with herself.

...the talk show queen ...

The Queen of Nice contends...

Some media talking head hangs a label on somebody and everybody repeats it. Makes me sick. Just like Michael Jackass and his title, "The King of Pop." MTV allowed themselves to be bullied into calling Jacko the king of pop. Jacko required MTV to guarantee in writing that they would call him the king of pop or else he would not allow them to play his music. The title has stuck.

This Rosie O'Donut story is just more proof that the pop culture can manufacture anybody into a celebrity.

Just imagine the product of a Rosie/Hillary union.

A powerful arguement against artificial procreation.

She'll never be a PETA spokeperson. Looks like she enjoys red meat too much.

She's a hermaphrodite as well?

I think the whole thing can be summed up neatly if you consider that Rosie is really a man...

Again, more evidence of what I've always said, that homosexuality is a developmental behavioral disorder, brought on, in some cases, by problematic upbringings and abnormal relationships with parents.

Rosie Opens the Door In New Memoir

It looks like the Dutch boy's finger is about to come out of the dike.

So to speak.

I think she also contributed, in no small way, to K-Mart's ills.
