(Can you imagine the look on her face when she comes before the throne?) Can you imagine her having to get past Peter first?

No, I don't think you're quite to the level of actively destroying others (divided they fall and all that).
Perhaps some small good comes of your primary obedience to selfishness. =)
Now be honest: I'm dying to see how you rate.

Thank you. For the record: it's not bad enough we have to battle the left, we have bonafide attackers of truth here on FreeRepublic. V's wife.

Well, as amazing as it might seem when one contemplates the prospect of a "mother-only" right to homicide as some "human right" ... I think there are those who've bought into the lie that it's better to be dead than unwanted or that Gaia/Mother Earth was some kind of misogynist whose shoddy workmanship on the female body we must fix by affording women the right to be unpregnant at will.
So, because "ignorance is invincible" in some respects, it would be unfair to excommunicate those the Church has failed in the right formation of their consciences to withstand such lies and garbage thought.
It's those who actively procure, assist to procure or promote abortion of whom I speak as "culpable" for their actions. Just being shortsighted doesn't do it.

I believe the politicans know what they are doing. They know it conflicts with the religious teachings of their church, yet they fund abortion and pass other laws supporting it. If I were the shotcaller in the vatican or the cardinal of NY etc, They'd be gone.

Now be honest: I'm dying to see how you rate. I don't know. What the heck is "Reformed Orthodox Latter-Day Ahura-Mazdian?"
(One guess what it really was.)

Excellent I can just imagine you saying that in a Mr. Burns voice. "Eeexcellent..."

I quickly stomped her nonsense out with a bunch of facts and dropped the class the next day. Good work. May I assume that your leftist teacher did not know how to react to an informed student?

I'm confident the politicians know what they are doing. Abortion is a GOP policy, after all. That's the beauty of their "
I'm personally opposed, BUT ..." mantra.
They rely on the faith of their pro-life constituents to power them into office USING abortion and them they consistently vote against the Right to Life.
One of the most egregious example of the late GOP Senate being its claim that -- because the vote on the Schumer Amendment looked like it was going to be a tie and, gasp, give Gore good press from the leftwing media should he break the tie vote -- they were forced to split their consciences and pass the Schumer Amendment. Does 80-17 sound like a near "tie" to you?
For the most part, they are liars. We've handful of men who vote their consciences (including the likes of Ron Paul who, unfortunately, is so conscientious he keeps to his charter and won't touch abortion at the federal level). The rest can rot in hell as far as I'm concerned. I suspect many will.
Particularly those who -- like President Bush -- go so far as to dangle the Scripture of his "favorite philosopher" in prime time as he announces his decision to fund research on "Excess" manufactured human lives that have "already been killed."
You'd think the ACLU, ADL and the like would have been up in arms over his blatant use of Christian Scripture in his first televised addressed. Guess the goods they got were too overwhelming to make a peep about it.
Who'd have guessed the "Moral Majority" would be too busy high-fiving each other over Bush's Clintonesque ability to keep a campaign promised or the prime time Scripture mention to "inform consciences". I'm sure the ACLU, ADL and others were content to know that -- when it all boils down -- ACTIONS speak LOUDER than words.

The real point is that you know nothing about the relationship between the Church and the Fascists. Mussolini was an atheistic thug who did everything in his power to limit Catholic activity to the churches.

It's a group started in '71, I believe by about 47 "Catholic" nuns. They go around raising consciousness and power-lobbying the politicians before any major vote on "social justice" issues.
NETWORK: The Catholic Social Justice Lobby
Seriously, we could do worse than to join, take note and take action in opposition to their every move.

Lemme guess: "Not Applicable"
I was so hoping you'd take it seriously (or as seriously as one takes anything on "Beliefnet") and shoot me your results.
Strangely enough, I came up 100% compatible with Eastern Orthodox and Roman Catholic. Go figure. =)

I can't even muster up enthusism to bash you over the head with history. I've yet to see you do that with anyone, actually.
The opinions you have of history certainly are entertaining, nonetheless ... do continue.

Yawn. I can't even muster up enthusism to bash you over the head with history. Well, isn't that special. Do you really hold the position that Fascist Italy always abided by the Lateran treaty? If you do, it's back to the books for you, and no more Cornwell until you finish your Paul Johnson.
BTW, you do realize that Cornwell is a Vanity Fair columnist, not a historian, don't you?

What the handouts said might have had something to do with it. For instance, if you passed out a leaflet saying that George Bush should be shot, the Secret Service would take an interest and you probably would find yourself behind bars.

I took it seriously. It came up exactly as you'd expect.
