In truth, what you're really describing the left-wing mentality. You could be describing Barbara Streisand with that statement just as accurately as you describe left-wing blacks.
Some people just refuse to buck the status quo. At best, it would be admitting they were wrong. At worst, they could work themselves right out of a job.
How many social workers would not have jobs if the likes of Je$$e and $harpton and the Clinton$ lost their credibility, old grievances were dropped, and everyone embraced at least SOME conservative values, such as personal accountability? How many EPA "biologists"? How many Je$$e wannabes? Hmmm....how many "journalists"?
