Hum...let me think...pilots are dead...terrorist have control of the plane...shoot them.....and land the thing like they do in the movies... I don't think so... These people didn't need guns when they went in the cabin to remove the terrorists. They went with their courage and they achieved their goal. They didn't need guns, they just did it!

They HAD a pilot capable of flying and landing the plane. They HAD the will to try to take over. They lacked the firepower that could have immediately reduced the level of opposition and not given the terrorist at the controls the opportunity to fly the plane into the ground while they were trying to overcome the others in the cockpit.
