Thanks for your thoughtful answer...Still, there is a wellspring of shame and guilt over abortion, in this country...even those who've never had one or participated -- everyone knows someone...and while shame and guilt may not be positive motivators, I believe that among many there is a deeply felt need for a national repentence...wish there was a preacher or priest or SOMEBODY with the national stature of Billy Graham in his prime -- someone who would be an effective national leader on this issue...

To all you Kasich lovers, maybe you should investigate the Kasich/Gary Condit link. They were (are?) best buddies. Kasich went out and did fundraising for Condit. Do a search on those two names and look at what comes up. Your tune may change somewhat.

Why do you think Kasich decided not to run for Congress? He was in his 40s, in the top of the Republican leadership, mentioned as presidential timber, and he just quits being a congressman? Do you find that a little odd? Do you think Klintoon might have had a file on Kasich? Do you think maybe Kasich had some weirdities like Condit? I can only speculate on the last one, but dudes like Kasich just don't quit for no reason.

The SCOTUS has a lot of momentum. It takes a long time for the effects of one courts bias to be overcome. If we can not secure a solidly conservative court in the next few years it will be all over for our generation.

The liberally biased courts will allow abortion to continue unabated, essentially overturn the 2nd Amendment, reduce States Rights to nearly zero and give life to all sorts of liberal causes waiting to burst forth upon us.

If the Republicans do not gain the Senate in 2002 and appoint a some conservative judges, we will be a Nation of Liberal values well in the middle of this century.
