Vanity: I just received a BEAUTIFUL Christmas Card from President and Mrs. Bush!!!

When I opened this absolutely beautiful Christmas card and read the verse from Psalms, I became teary-eyed and choked up. Why? Because after eight years, we FINALLY have two genuinely good people in the White House as President and First Lady.

God Bless President and Mrs. Bush, and God Bless America!!

I got one of those too! I think my picture might be a different one from the White House collection, though. It brought a big smile to my face when I got it! I showed it to all my friends..."Hey looky at the Christmas card I got from the President" hehehe...

I am going to bring mine along next week to show my niece and nephew what their President sends his supporters. They might take a message different from what they get in school, and from their parents.

I received one as well. It really was pretty interesting and one that I will save.

Heck, I may have to send one back. I told my wife when we were alone it was because I'm such a confidant of the President.

Then, yesterday, my daughter and son-in-law were over for dinner. They saw it. I told them it is because my wife and I are such close personal friends with George and Laura. Yes, this is definitely a card I'll save.

It is nice, though, to receive a card from the President and not feel the need to use it for tinder in the fire pit out in the yard.

I know that there is a way to get a "Congratulations" card from the President sent to those that just had a child. I have some big time liberal family members who just had a baby last week. Would love to have one sent to them. Anyone know how to get one sent?

I made the maximum individual donation to President Bush's Presidential campaign & so did hubby. Hubby and I also sledge-hammered Bush/Cheney campaign signs all other the Phoenix area east valley in October 2000. I think that had something to do with it--LOL!!
