Hi. Couldn't get through on the "Leahey" site. Maybe they don't want us to.

Late last night I saw a little of Daschle on Meet the Press. Russert was talking about Daschle going on a fundraising trip starting Dec 10th. Russert was reading a memo or oress release of some kind. One of the places mentioned was Kansas City.
Anyone else hear this or have any details. If he comes here we HAVE to give him a KC welcome. The little rat can't be given a free ride.

Let's Roll is right! Thanks for the info and just Emailed "my dear senator Leahy" with copies to friends in hopes they will do the same. My past experience has been for their offices to return the Emails and ask that they be put in writing but at this time, there is no regular mail so we'll see what happens with, hopefully, all of the thousands of Email thanks to you.

Just sent emails to my too Senators. Don't hold much hope, however. Murray and Cantwell. Can't get much worse than that. Will call and do a letter to the editor as well. Leahy is a prick.

Great! I've been wondering when this issue would surface.
Thanks for all the links and info, I'll pass them on, and get on the phone to the Congress critters.
A passing thought, I wonder why Larry Klayman and Judicial Watch have been sooooooo quiet about this? I mean, after all, their main complain has been unfriendly, Clinton appointed judges.
You would think that Larry would be busy releasing one press release after another about this.....

The probelm is, Leahy isn't up for re-election in 2002. We could pressure other Senators in other states. Living in a state with two solid Republicans, there's not much I can do, they both support Bush's nominations. Here's some info from
an older thread about who's up for re-election next year, the info is kind of dated(May '01) but could still be useful.
