Love the picture! The new constitution one is just great!
I spent the weekend getting my house ready for Christmas! Got the tree decorated, and put out all of the Santas, stockings, poinsettias, etc. Looks festive!
I was remember last year during the election highjacking attempt, I threw up a tree a few days before Christmas! I was just too upset to get into the spirit.
Of course today we had the terrible terrorist attacks of Israel to think about. Prayers for the people over there!

I just got this in an email from a friend. Forgive me if it's already been posted. It is too funny:

A large group of Taliban soldiers are moving down a road when they hear a voice call from behind a sand-dune. "One Texas soldier is better than ten taliban".

The Taliban commander quickly sends 10 of his best soldiers over the dune whereupon a gun-battle breaks out and continues for a few minutes, then silence.

The voice then calls out "One Texan is better than one hundred taliban".

Furious, the Taliban commander sends his next best 100 troops over the dune and instantly a huge gunfight commences. After 10 minutes of battle, again silence.

The Texan voice calls out again "One Texan is better than one thousand taliban".

The enraged Taliban Commander musters one thousand fighters and sends them across the dune. Cannon, rocket and machine gun fire ring out as a huge battle is fought. Then silence.

Eventually one wounded Taliban fighter crawls back over the dune and with his dying words tells his commander, "Don't send any more men, its a trap. There's actually two of them."

White House Christmas 2001

HGTV's cameras will be inside the White House when dozens of decorators and volunteers descend upon the State Dining Room, the Blue Room and many other famous rooms to transform the "people's house" into a beautiful holiday show home. Host Joy Philbin hosts this one-hour special, which documents the efforts of the talented artisans who created the ornaments and decorations featured in the White House this year. The special also features visits with the First Lady's social secretary, the White House Chief Florist and Chief Pastry Chef to find out what it takes to transform the residence for the holidays.
