I want to thank everyone again for the prayers all of you have sent for my family, lately it just seems as if we have been faced with one situation after another. That said, I'd like to request another. Last night, my oldest and middle child were horsing around at the in-laws while I was washing dishes, they were actually climbing the walls in the hallway. My son grabbed my daughter's arm while she was holding herself up, about 4 feet off the floor. All I heard was the thud, and crying. Needless to say because she fell on her back, I took her and my son to the hospital, where we spent 2 hours. She only has a bruised back, and cannot touch her toes. Please pray that they have actually learned a lasting lesson from this experience, and that my daughter won't suffer any further problems due to the fall.
Again, thank you for your prayers, and everyone have a blessed weekend!
Understand and agree - one thing after another. Praying with you both for needs mentioned.
Thank you for your prayers for me and mine also. Does it seem to you that there is a "spirit of oppression" floating around? It just seems to me that "the darkness deepens" is what I am seeing, feeling, experiencing.
I do know that when the "dark" times come - we need more than ever the "light of the world" to shine into our hearts, our minds, our homes, our communities, and into the lives of those we care about. Apart from Jesus Christ, we can do nothing at all that really matters. Thank God that even when we do not "feel" His presence - HE IS THERE! In all these situations! Say a prayer that my dear hubby will come to know this truth as well right now. Thank you!

Amen, sister! I hear the same thing from many now, people under constant and unrelenting attack unlike anything we have witnessed before in our lives. The attacks seem so blatant too, as if the attackers don't have time to prepare for an insidious assault. This leads me to believe the time left is VERY short...and that we will be going Home soon. Thank You Father!
We have a very great promise from our Lord:
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." (Acts 16:31)
We must seize this promise for every member of our families. Our God is faithful. He has NEVER forgotten even the smallest of His promises! satan knows this and seeks to place doubts in our hearts that just maybe this promise wasn't for all of us...and that our prayers are nothing more than pleadings before an angry God. he does not want us to know or believe that our prayers really have the impact of a "first strike" assault.
My mother was a dedicated feminist and at the very least an agnostic. My father prayed for her constantly, day after day, year after year...nothing, no response from her at all...until she got cancer. My father took care of her and patiently continued praying as she became weaker and weaker. One day, near the end, my mother looked at him and with tears in her eyes she thanked him for his devotion and love throughout the years. And then she told him that Jesus had placed an rainbow around our house. My mother finally accepted Christ right before she died. You have no idea what a miracle this was. My mother was an incredibly strong and intelligent woman, and of herself she never would have accepted Jesus' sacrifice. But my father had seized and believed through the long years that my mother would be saved...and she was. So it will be with your husband, and my husband, and all of our children.
God does not forget even the least of His promises made to the least in the Kingdom. What a Mighty God we have! Thank You Father!!!
I will pray for you, your husband, and your entire household, dear sister!
Agree with you on the "time is short" message from God. That is probably the strongest impression I have been receiving in my Spirit in times of prayer. Time is short. (Of course, this is a message we should have with us every day - because it spurs us - me - like no other...i.e. Get about your Father's work!) We are not to be anxious about the time being short - but we are to remember that it is - and so not waste a minute of our precious time in frivolous (FR???) things! Ha! Better be on my way to the other tasks of the day! Talk with you later and God bless you in all things!
I've sometimes thought the same thing, but I'm certain the Lord is using us in ways we can't even imagine. Our prayer threads, our prayers and comments are read by many throughout the world. I believe that we are a powerful ministry and testimony to a searching and fearful world. :)
P.S. billbears you're right. FR does add the little "*" to "Daily Prayer" automatically. Cool!
