A day in the life of President Bush (photos): 11/14/01

From long talks to long walks, from cutting nuclear arsenals to chopping cedar, from limousines to "Gators", the U.S.-Russia summit goes casual and gets personal as it moves to President Bush's ranch.

President Bush made a statement late this evening regarding the rescue of the eight humanitarian workers in Afghanistan. Bush said that the rescue was coordinated with the Afghanis and local Red Cross officials. The eight workers are now safe in Pakistan. Wnjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

I think the poll numbers speak for themselves. He has high personal approval, job approval, etc. X-42 will be the last old school politician where "everybody did it" was the mantra spoken to excuse you name it.

We aspired to elect someone better than that and I am so thankful W is our leader. We sought mutual respect, compassion, common sense, and decency in the voting booth last year and we won!

Maybe Clinton's book will be about self discovery in that he thought he was the greatest prez of all time but he's been totally upstaged by Dubya because he was so bad and Dubya's so good.

I had to laugh at that. My 11 y.o. son and I sat at the kitchen table today learning the secrets of the nominative and objective cases! I didn't realize how much I had FORGOTTEN about Grammar!!

I can't believe the photo of W for the NYT! There are so many great photos of him, he barely takes a bad one, and this is the one they use. They must make a warped game out of it.

Thanks for posting that picture of another 'real' man. He is just the man for the position.

Well, at least nobody will ever accuse him of singing through his nose because it's barely there. Can't they build him a new one? It is really distracting and by the way, his voice is very soft but he can moon walk, that's for sure. His brother Jermaine is cute and muscular.

And do any of you wonder how Laura handles entertaining Mrs. Putin when their husbands are out playing? Does Mrs. Putin speak English?

I believe Millie is a linguist, so she may speak perfect English. Wouldn't that be cool, the two ladies just sitting around talking about their families? The Putins have two girls also, though I think they are pre-teens, so they will have lots in common.

BTW, I forgot to thank you, rintense. Great pics as always!

Rumsfeld is definitely the man for the job. (And he just keeps getting better looking, honestly! A very smart-looking man.)

Good grief. I just looked at tomorrow's NY Times. You wouldn't believe the "W" picture on their front page. Of all the wonderful available shots , they pick one which makes him look drunk. Arrrggghhhhhhh! I hate libs.

That's why the circulation of the NYT's is going down and the hits on this thread are going up.

Bush, Putin and a F250 -- the historic pictures are here!

Laura looks so cute in #10. She is such a gracious hostess.

God bless our President and his lovely wife. I hope they are having a wonderful time -- the Bushes and the Putins-- together at the ranch. I'm just dying to see more pictures from there.

Just think ... in spite of the crummy pics the media puts out of President Bush and all the snide remarks they make, his ratings are still through the roof! If the whole country saw him the way we do each night, his ratings would be up around 500%!

Isn't that the truth! I have even been sending photos of Bush to my sister, because she never knows what I'm talking about when I tell her about some of the great photos of him and others. She never sees anything like them in the papers or magazines.

I agree with your opinion about Mrs. Putin's sweater. She doesn't exactly look that great in sleevless either. Not a good choice. Laura, on the other hand, looks darling.

can anyone recall Clinton ever driving a car? Does that guy OWN a car?

Horrible thought! He couldn't keep a car on the road any better than he could keep the country on track. He'd be a collision waiting to happen.

Wonderful photos. They're really having fun. Vlad is almost smiling with his mouth open....not quite, but close.

My daughter spend a few years in the Middle East and says they hate us because we have fun. And they don't know how to. Looks like the president of Russia is learning. I think it's important for him to learn that Americans have big fun, laugh, relax, do silly things and also win wars. The binLaden's of this world seem to think it's either-or.
