"President Bush's job approval rating shows no sign of decline. The latest Gallup poll, conducted Nov. 8-11, measures the presidents approval rating at 87%. Bushs job approval has remained at 86% or higher in seven polls conducted over two months. In the history of Gallup polling, no prior presidents have been able to sustain their high approval levels, with no apparent decline, this long." Full Story
Sorry - some of us are a little slow on the uptake.
For the unenlightened ones (such as myself), please list specific names concerning the conspiracy to kill Reagan.
Deep tissue surmising on a public figure's personal life is not my forte.
As you know, I basically revolve whatever their words and actions suggest is their measure of respect for Human Life. I'm one of those who actually believes "all men are created equal" and that ALL RIGHTS flow from the one essential right that is the Right to Life.
Any chance you're going to turn the post right side up and realize I'm including the handily executed pseudo-FRAMING of the Bush family in whatever conspiracy existed to assassinate Reagan?
Now either they managed to trip on their swords or someone far more powerful and connected than they likes to leave a reminder they're not omnipotent by any means.
Feel free to prove it, Howlin ...
(And see if you can't clean up your act just a tad where the personal insults and nasty abbreviations are concerned. Unless I'm mistaken, you're supposed to be a FAB Member, for Pete's sake.)
I like it that you're finally on record saying that you believe George W. Bush and/or his handlers/family tried to kill Ronald Reagan.
And I don't see whether or not I would be a member of FAB would prevent me from calling a spade a spade.
Second of all, you bring nothing but insults and foul language to the table, you dog me without flagging me to the latest insult and -- when called to defend your allegations -- you prove unequivocably you're holding nothing but venom and couldn't defend one of your own statements if you tried.
I am not "full of shit" as you say. I perpetually post precisely what I have in the way of direct quotes, mainstream news sources, bona fide history and reliable analyses to evidence the whys and wherefores of my "personal opinions" as stated from time to time.
Either defend your statement on the merits or get thee back to those threads wherein one's personal opinion -- particularly sartorial -- is somehow a compelling and valuable sort of "political forum" post.
Now, the artist who went off on it that night took out a napkins and proceeded to illustrate for me why it was the "CIA's version" of the peace sign and not the original symbol as created by Bertrand Russell.
Evidently this crotchety old 60's artist-radical (whose friend savaged me for being a Catholic, btw) felt the CIA added the central cross bar in order to accentuate some "upside-down cross" as well.
Like I said, I don't know much about that and should look into the evolution of the peace sign one of these days.
How so?
(If you can think of an answer, of course.)
The fact remains, no matter HOW you dress it up, you did state plainly on this thread that you believe that a Bush family friend, on either his behalf or on behalf of his "handlers," the proverbial "them," tried to have Ronald Reagan killed.
Totally busted and a total waste of time to even consider.
Now you're really grasping at straws on this thread ;)
You can't even get the quote right. It's "son of a Bush family friend".
If you go read Wallaby's article (which I found and linked), you'll see what I mean.
If indeed Hinkley tried to assassinate Reagan, then indeed it was the son of a Bush family friend/acquaintance who tried to assassinate Reagan.
Lord knows I try but I'm a little weak on "Coincidence Theory". I should think that the Bush Family itself (enamoured as they are of "sending a message") understand this sort of thing perfectly well.
As a professional reveler and masker of the last 12 years, I can assure you than I've NEVER (even among the old wax French masks we use) seen a mask tied thus. Since everything in that piece of propaganda -- down to the mic cord reading "CIA" -- means something, there's really no reason to believe the artist just happened to tie the mask on thus.
Again ... it's not something I picked up on but rather was seized upon by an old 60s radical and product of the revolution.
Any chance you could add Tourist Guy into that one?
You must be the only person in this country who is glad that Bush is president only because it allows you to post all that garbage on your hard drive out in public.
