Sorry, but if something broke off and hit the stabilizer it does not mean it would have sheared it off the plane. In fact, look at the pictures. It looks like the stabilizer was torn off the plane, but if it was caused by being hit by something it would have left damage to it, don't you think? Dents at a minimum. I just don't see that.

I am not an airline mechanic, and I don't play one on TV, but I don't get this:

Where are the jagged, connecting pieces that should be evident? Hoses, attached pieces of the fuseulage? Some tremendous shock load must have been applied to the airframe from the side to do this. I have no theory.

Where is the rudder? Did it come off after the stabilizer seperated or did it go before. Notice you can see what appears to be the attachement points for the rudder on the trailing edge of the stabilizer.
