My friend's now 32 year old daughter has had a re-occurance of cancer, this time in her lungs. Rachel had a radical mastectomy, went through chemo and radiation, and seemed to be doing well--although she had not yet had a completely clean bill of health. A few weeks ago, she had pneumonia. Today I found out that the cancer had returned and she will be trying a new drug--hopefully it will not make her sick. Please pray for Rachel, and her husband and daughter as well as her parents, who will be flying down to Corpus Christi to be with her.

Lord, we ask that You place Your healing hand on Rachel ... may she draw strength and comfort from her family and friends and from those who undertake for her physical care. Grant success, Lord, through this new treatment, and may she have the length of days that is the desire of a mother's heart.

My Mam died from cancer (non Hodgekins lymphoma) just over two months ago. She had a tremendous faith. I promise, I'll pray to her for your friends daughter. If anyone can do anything, Kit can. *S* She'll have a word in the right ears in heaven *S*
