The departments of Edgar and Apache law enforcement were working together. They claimed that they had gone out to serve 3 felony warrants, pretaining to someone having had a semi-automatic pistol drawn on them by Bill Cooper. It isn't very smart to lure someone out of their house that is known to pack a weapon at 12:45 AM! Something smells here. Cops aren't that stupid are they?

"Can you show me where an income tax is allowed?"
Yes, Amendment XVI, passed in 1913.

you wrote:'Cops aren't that stupid are they?'
Who really knows. But a DEAD patriot that has many listeners want real answers. What it looks on the surface is a NWO-Hit team to silence a man that has continuosly given the NWO-pukes a HEADACHE... Smells like murder, seems like murder, so far the cop-pers arent really saying much about anything, especially in the way of TRUTH...

"He was a New World Order conspiract theorist."
Wasn't he also a "there are flying saucers hidden in Area 51" guy, a guy who believed aliens were working with secret government agencies to control the world?

Have any of you read the constitution? Realy? Recently? Thoroughly? Can you show me where an income tax is allowed or legal from a constitutional governemntal standpoint? What article and section? How about:
Amendment XVI.
The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration.
How's that?

from his personal biography on his site...
He produced several documentaries covering subjects such as the Kennedy assassination and secret black projects that have built flying disk shaped craft. William is an internationally acclaimed radio personality broadcasting the Hour Of The Time on WBCQ worldwide short-wave 7.415 MHz from 10 PM until 11 PM Eastern Standard Time (0300 to 0400 UTC) Monday through Thursday nights.

"you dribbled"
I was asking question, not pretending to state a fact, in case you didn't notice.

No, he was a NWO conspiracy truthseeker, not some ignorant/ arrogant fool who believes everything just happens by accident.

Check out www.usconstitution.net. It has the whole thing online, including ammendments. There is also a section which explains in plain English what each section means (that's not to imply you are incapable of understanding the old English, merely pointing this out for anyone else who may see this post).
As was already pointed out, ammendment XVI(16) provides for the collection of taxes.
My guess is that Mr. Cooper's problem (although I am not familiar with him...just some of what's been said in threads here) was not so much with the collection of taxes, as much as it was implying the IRS did not have proper authority to assess and collect those taxes. He would have been written off immediately (due to the 16th ammendment) if his mere stance was that it was unconstitutional for the government to collect taxes.

Regarding pulling a gun on a cop.....
The article says they were playing the roll of 'rowdy teenagers'. From that you would have everyone leap to the conclusion that he knew they were cops?
Tell you a story....just a couple of years back, I believe it was in the state of Louisiana, and it was certainly after so many of these 'wrong address' bust in and shoot and kill events occured....a couple's home was busted into by dark clothed men....eventually, it was determined it was LEO--and they had the wrong address.
Just a couple of weeks later, the same thing occurred...the couple wasn't too worried, though, cause it had just happened and it was 'the good guys'. Well....as luck would have it, it wasn't the 'good guys' this time....they murdered the man and all enjoyed a romp with the wifey before being the living hell out of her.

You know, when the police say to put your hands up, YOU PUT YOUR HANDS UP. You want to make a point, make it in court. It seems you know little about William Cooper. You may not have agreed with him, and to some Sheeple he seemed down right radical, but he was definitely one to talk the talk and walk the walk. Some of his thoughts were a little far out, but as often as not he was right on the money.
Also, he never seemed to be a particuarly violent man and was well known for affirmation of a "defensive" rather than an "offensive" posture when dealing with Government wrongs.
Most likely it was not Cooper that started this fight, and to me it smells like a set-up. As it was stated earlier, don't be suprised if the authorities suddenly find anthrax or some other dangerous substance or article in his home.
But don't worry Matt; just another right wing wacko who bit the dust; go back to sleep now and dream of how safe you will feel when we finally get rid of all those who question Government.
BTW, try making your constituional points in court and see what happens to you. Trust me Sheeple, things are not what they seem, and you don't have to necessarily be

I have been listening to Bill for many many years. He was a true American hero. I did not agree with him on everything he said but he still had the right to say it. I think he thought this would be the way that he died. He just got together with his long lost daughter last year or the year before. I think he had sent his wife and 2 little girls out of the country for their safety. It is really a sad day for all patriots in this country. He spoke up when no one else would. He was a Vietnam vet and served the country that he loved deeply. MamaB
