She seems to be one of many converts recently. I've noticed she hasn't been doing her gun-control lambasts any more either.

After the fall of the Soviet Union, there were an awful lot of headcracking KGB who suddenly announced that they had never been truly Communist but were rather always against its philosophy. People who had genuinely suffered and saw them do this just rolled their eyes.

Lots of East European films have since been made with scenes depicting these extraordinary conversions. One film you can find at you favorite video store is Czech and is called "Kolya". Very relevant to what we are will be seeing here today.

Don't worry, her "support" isn't genuine and it won't last. This is just Rosie's way of admitting that if she slams Bush or Guiliani the way she always has, she'll end up getting (literally) death threats. I seriously doubt that Rosie will become a conservative Republican! If only that were so.....

My humble opinion is this. Regardless of one's opinion of Rosie (I have detested her liberal views), she's one of those "What you see is what you get" kind of people. I think she absolutely recognizes that genuineness in Bush. Agree with him or not, he is genuine, he is brave, and he is our president in time of war.

For real? There are no liberals in fox holes, are there? I was surprised when she donated $1 million to the NY relief effort and said all those Hollyweird celebs should do likewise. The relief shouldn't be carried by the working middle class.

Don't know about Rosie but you know what they say about conservatives? A conservative is a liberal that has been mugged by reality.
