After the attack on 911 I've done a lot a analyzing and devil's advocate games and for the life of me I can't justify the training of aliens in highly technical fields that are allied to weapons development.
I don't think it's difficult to predict who might be our enemy within the producticve lifetime of a recent college graduate. Why in the hell are we training these students in advanced mathamatics, electrical and nuclear engineering, biochemistry and physics?
This takes personal courage.
I've noticed that virtually every press release (that's what these things are as far as I'm concerned, not news) that comes from these people is ridiculously simplistic in thought. They have all the creativity of "the dog ate my homework." Are the originators of this material truly that simple? Anyone else noticed this?

And how 'bout the former head of Pakistan's nuclear research programme? He had been working recently on projects in Afghanistan, including land development, educational reform and food programmes.
Now you tell one. |
In this case, protective custody probably involves three large goons breaking your fingers until you answer their questions to their satisfaction.
I can't imagine why Pakistan would not want to root out nukes in the hands of the Taliban........or their supporters in Pakistan.
If ONE goes off anywhere over there, I suspect dozens will shortly follow.
India will freak-out and try to pre-empt. Pakistan will freak out and try to pre-empt. The US will freak out and PRE_EMPT.
