This came as a shock, said Dr Spertzel, although he added that at that time the ATCC had a policy to supply laboratories with credible reputations. = the University of Baghdad

WTF????

Sounds like we are one screwed up country - the biologicals with which we are being threatened came from us. Something is very wrong with this picture. Sounds like we've been had..

Who in their right mind would consider the University of Baghdad a "credible" place to send Anthrax???? These people have definitely lost it. The inmates are running the asylum. You called it correctly.

"There is not an awful lot of difference between making vaccines and making bio-weapons - it is a bit unfair to mark those who supplied Iraq as guilty."

I dunno, I see a huge difference! It would be a real shame if "the gov. of Iraq" accidentally spilled some anthrax, proving to the world their possesion of same and their intent. Hard to call it vaccine when it kills thousands.

If Iraq is responsible for current and future biological attacks, I would feel that a small tactical nuke would be an appropriate and equivalent response. Nukes have the pleasant side effect of completely sterilizing the ground in a significant radius: the vaccine for Saddam's "vaccine."

But...But..Iraqi Ambassador in Moscow Doctor Moujir al-Douri said that "There is neither bacteriological nor any other weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, and Washington knows it excellently."

No bacteriological weapons in Iraq - ambassador.

Hmmm...who to believe??? ;)

Britain has played an unwitting role in arming Iraq, although a spokesman for the successor to Unscom - the UN monitoring, verification and inspection commission - said: "There is not an awful lot of difference between making vaccines and making bio-weapons - it is a bit unfair to mark those who supplied Iraq as guilty."

Let's keep this in mind. Also, I must have missed the evidence to back these claims...all I saw was a simple declaritive sentence that the ITTC sold the stuff.
