Excellent article. Iraq is the most likely source for the anthrax, although the Russian mafia would still appear to be a possibility, based on publicly-available information. I assume the government have had the forensics to determine this definitively for at least the last several days. Presumably, they are keeping their mouths shut until they can figure out what to do about it.

The other, less generous possibility is that the Clinton administration was engaged here in its trademark behavior of focusing first and foremost on spin, expectation-adjustment, and short-term public relations, and deriving policy therefromPossibility? Is he kidding?
It is called the "Clinton Doctrine", defined as NARCISSISM

Previously I didn't think it likely that Iraq was involved. However, this article gives me some pause. A truly excellent piece. We'll just have to wait and see if any more evidence of Iraqi involvement turns up.

The anthrax is too complex for bin Laden, someone had to have helped him.

I personally don't think it matters if Iraq is responsible ... this time. If we do not take Saddam out NOW he WILL be responsible sometime in the near future. It is time for America to make a stand for its very survival. America's enemies have been lining up to stike for some time now. The enemies of America view us as weak, unresolved, feminized and divided. If we do not begin show otherwise we are NOT going to have a country in ten or so years.

CIA and the National Security Agency are obviously asleep at the wheel.
