Statesmen may plan and speculate for liberty, but it is religion and morality alone which can establish the principles upon which freedom can securely stand. The only foundation of a free constitution is pure virtue. - John Adams |
OK, I bite, give me your examples.
We got a box with one tube of each (daytime/nighttime). It only seemed to differ in concentration of the active ingredient. Why wouldn't I want to use the more effective stuff? Does the baby really care what time it is?
My wife has a cousin who's deaf and married a deaf girl. Their baby cries all the time and they don't notice. Drives the rest of the family bonkers.

Which Catholic Church. Full name please.
I hate to break this to you Reggie, but the full name of the Catholic Church is "the Catholic Church." Like I told you yesterday, the Anglicans started using the term "Roman" as a slur mostly to distinguish their alleged "Catholic" Church from the true Catholic Church.

You believe Jesus is a god, but do not believe Him perfect? How is a god imperfect?

Just judging from memory of it, it's a good read, but I didn't get a chance to jump it to last night due to the sick family. I'll get back to you on this ... we'll have much to talk about, I'm sure. Looking forward to it.
From this and the rest of your statement, I seriously wonder how you chose the handle, "Joyful"
God knows exactly how we will react to any given situation, but we don't, so we have to experience it personally to understand later on why his way is perfect, to avoid God having another problem to deal with such as Satan, who was made perfect, but didn't understand what a blessing it was, and no one can, until they get to see both sides.

Oh, my.
I thought you were previously extolling the virtues of the book of Hebrews.
Hebrews
9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
Me: At the appearing of Christ when He comes to claim His Bride; the Rapture.
SD: OK. Now for most people, who have died before the "Rapture" occurred, this would be sometime after they die, right?
And before they go to Heaven?
Sorry, I should have been more specific.
Should I live to see the Rapture I will be made perfect at that time. If I should die before the Rapture takes place then I will be present with the Lord (absent from the body, present with the Lord) and made perfect at that time.
Hope that helps.

Thanks. The infant Tylenol wasn't doing the job, though we use it and Tylenol cold formula for other things.
Hot todies sound like fun. The best stuff for a cold (for adults) is called "B&B" (Benedictine & Brandy). It's made my monks and is a mixture of their own Benedictine liqueur with brandy. It's not cheap, but it's very effective.

Wow! That's a bold statemnt. Where did you get such an idea?
He was made positionally lower than the angels during the Incarnation.

Will you be present with the Lord in your imperfection? Is that even possible? Won't you need to be perfected before you enter the Lord's Presence?

Somehow I think that the Baptist vs. Catholic dialogue is going to take a back seat for a few posts.

Your missing the point. Paul was stressing that he could still lose out. Only when he stated he was ready to be offered up did he finally allow himself to say he had kept the faith. Only he that endures the suffering in his life to the end of it will be saved. I think it was Shakespere who said "There is many a slip betwixt the cup and the lip."
