AF 1 is equipped for air to air refueling. The national command center will probably be transferred to a looking glass aircraft, which will join up with AF-1, an AWACS aircraft, Fighter cover, and Tankers. They could stay up for days if they fell it necessary.

I would follow it up with a few massive airstrikes against those against whom we have already developed evidence. And.. then announce that further retaliation is forthcoming. Let these vile pieces of pseudohumanity sit in their own panicked urine-filled drawers as they wonder if they're next.

I don't think they are saying were the President is for obvious reasons ... also there is a blood shortage needed in DC and NYC is being reported ... it's a small way to help .. but it may help save a life

I just heard David Hackworth on KSFO out of San Francisco (ABC affiliate). He believes that if Osama Bin Laden is found to be responsible for this attack, and he believes that to be highly likely, then we should go into Afghanistan with cold steel and hot lead and take care of the problem. Air attacks won't do the job. He stated we are at war, and who could disagree with him?
