No martial law, although in those first few minutes it was on my mind. And also in those first few minutes I thought - this changes EVERYTHING. One of the HUGE successess is that we are back to talking about Britney Spears and Michael Jackson, etc. Not that those subjects are so worthy of notice - but that we can see them on the news instead of daily truck bombings at the mall, anthrax mailings, etc.

Hopefully however it DID change everything, at least in how we view our nation, our world and the people around us.
