Well, the fairness of the deal is between the folks making the deals! It's their problem. LOL

JMO: I think it would do a great deal to frighten people, as they should be duly frightened, when they see what communist propaganda is. It'll scare the socks off of some people here. I think that's a VERY good thing.

You are kidding, right ;) Of course its not AOL/Time Warner and News Corp I am concerned about as far as "fairness" goes - its the people that have their choices of channels limited by a lousy deal. Thre are a limited number of cable channels (even with digital, though much expanded) - now it looks like we can be sure one of them will be state run Chinese Television (CCTV) propaganda, instead of a channel that might carry much more worthy and fair news. The same problems of fairness apply to the Chinese people - if a fair deal had been struck, they might have been able to see news presented more accurately without the bias, exagerations, and often outright lies, of state run Chinese television.
