Sam,it is an excellent book, not cheap, but it does indicate it was not just a loserwaffe domain.

Your post was all new for me, except Window, with which I am familiar. Still used in the form of aluminum coated glass fibers running about seventy gazillion to the pound, as I recall. Some sort of powered cut to length and dispenser stuffing gear used to tailor length to a half wave from latest recon data. Probably still useful for simple - ish radars like missile terminal guidance and fuzing, I suspect.

I've read about the Wild Boar and Tame Boar systems. I read that the Brits had actually come up with Window earlier but were afraid to use it because they didin't want the Germans to know about it.
