I know and it's cold there, too, a lot farther North than I am.

Annual training there during August is sweltering during the day, and cold at night.
The bugs eat you during the day, and your sunburned butt freezes at night while the rain that soaked you during the day turns to a ground hugging fog.
*chuckle*
And the sand sticks to everything.
But where there's grass (alot more grass than sand) there's beauty.
Loved the place for it's ambience and atmosphere.

(Resistance is futile, but we may be placated with chocolates and shiny trinkets to add to our hord.)
