Great results coming in from West Coast voters. Reminds me of the Harry Truman victory in 1948.
The President had already gone to sleep around midnight, thinking that he lost in a rout, and woke up the next morning to find that he won! West Coast and Midwest made the difference.
Back then, everything was counted by hand. They didn't have computers that could disconnect/reconnect like we do. :-)
