You know, I was just thinking, that many people just vote "yes" on this poll because it's the top choice, above "no".
I'm beginning to see this as I get more tired.
Sometimes when I go to vote, I almost feel drawn to the "yes" box. Not because of any real merit, of course, but just because it's the first choice. It's harder to go to the "no" box!
Can you believe that??!!

Psychologists say that most people would rather answer "Yes" to a poll than "No", regardless of the question. I remember studying this, since I majored in Psych, and we had to make up a poll, for Social Psych class. The way you phrase the questions means EVERYTHING.

Some people who answer "yes" might also want Terri to eat on her own, since the question only asks if the feeding tube should be removed.

They should phrase the question like this:


"Do you believe Terri Schiavo should have a chance to live and recover?"

I'll bet you get a lot of "Yes" votes for that one.
