Speaking of cans of worms, if you add to the above the statement by Meister Eckhardt, "We are all meant to be mothers of God. For God is always needing to be born.", all sorts of interesting conundrums are there for consideration.

That's a mighty big can o' worms you're opening there. You're talking about Meister Eckhardt, the 13th century Dominican monk/mystic? The guy who also said "People say of the last day, that God shall give judgment. This is true. But it is not true as people imagine. Every man pronounces his own sentence; as he shows himself here in his essence, so will he remain everlastingly"?

Yup. The same guy who talked about God's day and Man's day. The same one who stated:

God has no before or after
God is neither this nor that
God is perfect simplicity
Prior to creatures, in the eternal now, I have played before the father in his eternal stillness.

Definitely had a way with words.
