Odd, muslims claim Christ as only a prophet - Now why would diminishing the trinity and basis of Christianity be tolerable to a Christian organization
We recognize and teach that all the people of the earth are of the family of God.
Ok - But Illbay doesnt see the Jews as "chosen" - by that measure they will not attain heaven. So it would appear Illbay is not doctrinally in step with Mormonism (kind of like a 4 point calvinist) - just dont lebel him an anti semite as thats not accurate.
And as He is our Father, so are we brothers and sisters with family obligations one to another. - LDS President Gordon B. Hinckley
I see this as a contradictory statement in contrast to the King Follet discourse of Joseph Smith which says man can be God
"God himself. was Once as we are now, and is an exalted man, and sits enthroned in yonder heavens! That is the great secret. " - Joseph Smith KFD
OOOh this is all too confusing
Resty - can you explain it with a wiggly gif ?
You misunderstand. There is a difference between not quarreling with another faith, and accepting the tenets of that faith.
I know that "not bashing another religion" is rather a new concept for you, but try to keep an open mind.

I wonder if you're really so obtuse, or if you're deliberately being precious.
A Jew is not "chosen" simply because he is born a Jew. He is "chosen" only if he accepts Christ as the Messiah, is born again through faith, repentence and baptism.
You have a slippery, sliding definition of "bashing" and other such concepts. Perhaps they are too complicated for you.

Oh, I guess I was right. How astute of me.
