You may define "religion bashing" as you like.

I think Jim Robinson has been pretty clear on the definition that we use around here.

It is not, for example, "bashing" Catholicism to say "I used to be Catholic, but as I grew older I began to study for myself, and decided that Catholicism was wrong so now I am __________."

It IS bashing to say "Catholics are all under the spell of these popes who are the Anti-Christ! They need to wake up before they find themselves in the pit of Hell burning forever!"

I trust you can see the difference. I opine that if you cannot, it is a personal failing of yours, not anyone else's fault.
