Before Jesus Christ changed my life, I spent ten years as a drunkard and drug-addict. The gospel that transformed my life went something like this, "your problem is defined as sin, you should repent and ask God to forgive and deliver you." I was obedient and did just that! God's glory filled my spirit and set me free. It was not the watered down gospel being preached in most churches today that set me free. I was a hard case, and needed some strong medicine. It is the "hard truth" and truth alone that sets men free. It's the undiluted Word of God that promotes the real Jesus, Who alone can transform the sinful heart of man.

14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
